Introduction To Inline Off-Road Boards

By Baxter Wells

Inline boards have two wheels. This sets them apart right away from traditional 4 wheeled skateboards. There are many different kinds of inline boards, but they are significantly less popular than skateboards. Even less known about are all terrain inline boards, which are what this article is about.

For a unique riding experience, the Dirtsurfer and the Surfari are great boards to try out. They both are similar in that they both only have two wheels, but they each offer a different ride.

Both the Dirtsurfer and Sufari are exceptionally well at going fast. Two wheeled boards like these offer a more stable ride at higher speeds than a four wheeled skateboard.

Anyone who likes to go fast will love the fact that these two inline boards will never, ever experience speed wobble. Anyone who has experienced knows how scary it can be.

The big wheels on these boards are great for tackling all sorts of terrains. They can easily handle the occasional bump, stick, or gravel. What would normally send a skateboarder flying is easy to roll over on the big wheels the Dirtsurfer and Surfari have.

When you are board of riding paved surfaces on a Ripstik, you cant really take it off-roading. What is great about an off road inline board is that it can be used both on and off the road. This gives you many more options.

If you want a challenge and a lot of different options on where you can ride, an off road inline board might be just what you are wanting. I suggest you take a look at the Surfari and the Dirtsurfer as they both are great inline all terrain boards that are great at going fast, and going on and off the road. - 31502
